Vincent Abello
President, Synnex Technologies
Vincent Abello’s interest in technology began at a young age with BASIC programming on an Apple II and hands-on exploration of computer hardware. From 1994 through 1997, he created and operated Second Portal, a local bulletin board system that served as FidoNet node 1:2606/219. FidoNet connected independently operated bulletin board systems internationally at a time when internet access was not yet commonplace.
In the mid-to-late 1990s, Vincent was one of the owners of PC Obsession, a computer store in Sussex, New Jersey. The store specialized in custom-built computers and repairs across all major brands. It also became known locally for gaming PCs and demonstrations of emerging multimedia technology, including 3Dfx Voodoo and early NVIDIA-era 3D graphics hardware such as the TNT2, DVD-ROM drives, and hardware MPEG decoding.
Over more than 30 years, Vincent’s career has included local computer services, senior network engineering, implementation management, solutions architecture, healthcare cloud networking, and executive technology leadership. His background spans ISP operation, dynamic routing, enterprise and data-center networking, email and DNS infrastructure, Microsoft systems, virtualization, telecommunications, and modern business security. He has worked with organizations ranging from local businesses and medical practices to internet service providers, data centers, and Fortune 500 companies.
Vincent founded Synnex Technologies after seeing local businesses struggle to find broad, dependable IT assistance. Rather than recommend providers he could not fully stand behind, he began offering his own expertise. The company has since grown organically through customer demand and word-of-mouth referrals.
His approach begins with understanding the complete need—not just the most visible symptom. That means considering how systems interact, selecting technology suited to the environment, and explaining the options in terms each customer can understand. Raised in Newton and a resident of the Hackettstown area for more than 25 years, Vincent brings deep local roots and extensive technical experience to Synnex Technologies.

Business service area
Onsite business service is typically available within approximately 30 miles of Hackettstown, New Jersey, including parts of Warren, Morris, Sussex, and Hunterdon counties. Remote support and ongoing IT management are available virtually anywhere. We may travel farther for ongoing business relationships and larger projects.
