Business IT
What business IT services does Synnex Technologies provide?
Synnex Technologies provides business IT support, consulting, defined projects, managed and co-managed IT, Microsoft 365 and cloud support, servers, networking, cybersecurity, backup, and technology procurement and deployment.
Business IT options and pricing →What is included in managed IT services?
Managed IT can include ongoing oversight, maintenance, monitoring, patching, security, documentation, backup, and support. The exact systems, services, response expectations, and pricing are defined in each customer agreement.
Managed & Co-Managed IT →Do I need an ongoing agreement?
An ongoing managed-services agreement is not required for hourly business support or defined projects. Business hourly support follows your established contract terms, or the standard $150 hourly rate when no contract rate applies. Managed IT is provided under an ongoing agreement based on the number of supported systems and the services included.
Business IT options and pricing →Is there a charge for an initial business consultation?
No. Initial consultations for prospective business clients are free and carry no obligation. We can discuss your current environment, concerns, upcoming projects, or interest in changing IT providers. If detailed technical assessment, troubleshooting, documentation, or other billable work is recommended, we will explain the scope and pricing before beginning.
Business IT options and pricing →Can you work with our existing IT staff?
Yes. Synnex Technologies can supplement an internal IT department with project assistance, specialized expertise, escalation support, or ongoing management of selected systems.
Managed & Co-Managed IT →Do you sell computers and other technology?
Yes. Synnex Technologies can source computers, servers, networking equipment, software, licensing, and related technology and handle selection, configuration, and deployment.
Business IT options and pricing →Do you build custom computers?
Most business systems are sourced from established manufacturers such as Dell, but specialized custom systems can be built when a customer has specific requirements. Custom gaming computers are also available as a specialty residential service.
Residential services and pricing →Do you offer after-hours support?
After-hours support is available as an option for established managed-services customers. Coverage and service levels are defined in the customer’s agreement.
Managed & Co-Managed IT →Advanced Business Technology
Can you connect multiple offices securely?
Yes. Synnex Technologies can design routed multi-site networks and site-to-site VPN connections for offices, branches, warehouses, production facilities, medical locations, and centralized applications. The design accounts for addressing, routing, firewalls, segmentation, internet connectivity, DNS, and application dependencies.
Network Engineering & Cybersecurity →What is SD-WAN and when would a business use it?
SD-WAN can monitor multiple internet or WAN connections and apply policies for failover, link health, traffic steering, or performance-based path selection. It may help a business reduce dependence on one circuit or improve connectivity between sites, but it does not automatically increase internet speed or guarantee uptime.
Network Engineering & Cybersecurity →Can you help with Microsoft 365, email, and DNS?
Yes. Services include Microsoft 365 tenant administration, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, identity and licensing, migrations, mail-flow troubleshooting, DNS, domain configuration, and email authentication records such as SPF, DKIM, and DMARC.
Microsoft 365, Email & Identity →Do you support Windows servers and virtualization?
Yes. Synnex Technologies supports Windows Server, Active Directory, Hyper-V, Remote Desktop Services, storage, virtualization, server migrations, infrastructure upgrades, application hosting dependencies, monitoring, backup integration, and lifecycle planning.
Servers & Infrastructure →What is the difference between backup and disaster recovery?
Backup creates protected copies of data or systems. Disaster recovery defines how applications, infrastructure, identities, connectivity, and data would be restored after a serious disruption. Business continuity also addresses how essential work can continue while normal systems or facilities are unavailable.
Backup & Business Continuity →Can you assess and document an existing IT environment or provider transition?
Yes. A focused assessment can include network discovery, equipment and application inventories, diagrams, configuration records, dependency mapping, security gaps, technical debt, missing access, vendor relationships, and priorities for transition or modernization.
IT Assessments & Documentation →Do you provide business phone and VoIP services?
Synnex Technologies supports hosted VoIP, RingCentral, Teams Phone where appropriate, number porting, call routing, queues, voicemail, fax, QoS, and voice-network troubleshooting.
Business Communications & VoIP →Can you assist with a security incident?
We can assist with technical security-incident assessment, containment, remediation, and recovery while coordinating specialized forensic resources when required.
Network Engineering & Cybersecurity →Service Areas and Support
What areas do you serve onsite?
Onsite business service is typically available within approximately 30 miles of Hackettstown, New Jersey, including parts of Warren, Morris, Sussex, and Hunterdon counties. Remote support and ongoing IT management are available virtually anywhere. We may travel farther for ongoing business relationships and larger projects. Onsite residential service is generally available within approximately 20 miles of Hackettstown, New Jersey. Remote support is available wherever the computer can connect securely to the internet.
Areas We Serve →Can you travel farther for a business project?
Yes. Synnex Technologies may travel beyond the normal service area for ongoing business relationships and larger projects.
Areas We Serve →How does remote support work?
Many technical issues can be resolved remotely without an onsite visit. For computers covered by an applicable managed-services agreement, secure remote-support capabilities are normally provided through the management software already installed on the system. For computers not under management—including on-demand business and residential systems—we can provide instructions for starting a secure temporary remote-support session when needed. Remote access is initiated only as part of an authorized support interaction. If a problem cannot be resolved remotely or requires physical access to equipment, onsite service can be arranged where available. Customers should never begin a remote-support session in response to an unexpected call or message.
